About

This blog is updated by me, Daniel Gardner. (Hi!) I was born in ’85 and grew up in São Paulo since my parents were missionaries to Brazil. As a tween, I liked drawing cartoons and playing soccer. Later, while being homeschooled through highschool, I spent good time in “nerdy pursuits” like programming and trying to understand computers. Years afterwards, my brother Dave and I made online videos and that was a very tough fun hobby. The videos are still posted at thinkGardner.com & Youtube.

John Dewey said: “Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.” And that’s the idea behind the blog title. Personally, most of my learning takes place outside of a classroom and I like sharing. Sharing links, stories, topics about life & faith.

I currently live in Brazil and work with a book publishing ministry. Like a lot of other guys, I just want to follow God’s lead and serve in the best way.

Also like a lot of other guys, I hate washing laundry.

I’d love to hear from you. Drop a note or comment and lets stay in touch.
